i lookes at many different fonts to use on my magazine and came to a decision, new times roman demi, is the font i will use, this is because i think it stands out well  and looks thick and bold in big font. i think this font will go well with the style of my magazine and will stand out catching the readers attention

 Although this contents page isnt based around the music industry I love the design of it, the image is really distinctive and catches the readers eye, i think that it looks slightly misleading as it is not completely obvious that it is the contents page however i think the theme and colours are attractive and modern, appealling to a younger reader. The heading also looks very distinctive and differnet as the word is split up, this is unusual to most magazines and creates authenticity.


this is NME magazine contents page, and although it is very music oriented, in my opinion i would opt to go for something a little different, some features i do like are the highlighted headings on the contents list, this stands out and looks edgey and bold. i also think the red and black on whit go really well with the whole style of the magazine. The masthead of the front cover has been copied and minmised to the heading on the contents page, this keeps a style throughout the magazine, therefore readers will remember the logo more and recongnise it.


 This contents is one of my favourites, i think the whole page is really effective, the black and white makes the page look really classy and authentic as well as the text at the bottom of the page, the font is in capitals to make it stand out more as it is slightly hard to read, alsothe list is formatted in a paragraph form, this makes it more unique and different to most magazines nowadays
