For my coursework brief i have chose to do a music magazine, the genre i have picked is pop/R&B, i chose this genre because it is the type of music i like and therefore my knowledge about it will be a higher standard than a genre i have no interest in.
My inspirational magazine is NME because it is a very successful music magazine and the general theme of the cover is very eye-catching. The mast-head of the cover stands off the page jumping out, also the colour theme is very bold. This means it will stick in readers head and therefore they would recognise the magazine standing on shelves.

Music magazine moodboard

 the music magazine moodboard  colour scheme i chose is black, blue,pink and green because this is the colour scheme i am planning to use on my magazine. i used black because i think it helps other colour 'pop' off it.
The pink and blue are the same as the colours i will use for my fonts and masthead.
i like the images i have chose because i think they give off a proffessional and mysterious vibe.
The photo of Christina Aguilera is very Proffesional and fierce this gives off the imprettion that the magazine has the same vibe.
I also like the font because i think it looks very simple yet it catches the readers eye and looks bold on the black background.
